Got the call, got the (06) book and the 07 options list. This is a dealer launch car and I have the option to spec it out for myself.

Right now I'm thinking Rosso Vic/black interior w/red stitching, e-gear.

    I don't know what is the :
    Titanium fibre package
Leather roof liner (as compared to alcantara?)

    +branding
    +transparent engine
no ceramic brakes (don't track, don't need them)
no carbon package (seen it on a gallardo don't like it)

Any pics of hemrera rims vs the new ones?

    What color calipers?

    Thanks.

Oh and I get to keep the Ferrari. Appareantly some "old really *****y lady" in town has an SL 500 exactly like my wife's- pissed her off, now she doesn't want it. So the spider will be hers!!!!!!!!!

For Rosso Vic, I would go with Silver calipers. That keeps the car very classy and elegant. Don't waste your money on the leather headliner, I like the alcantara one better anyway. As for the rims, I'd go with the rims that were standard in 06. Just my opinion!

    Here you go

    Branding package......
gets Lambo factory bull embossed on seat headrests, lamborghini word in chrome on passanger side dash, (LIKE the Gallardo SE), also gets logo on wheels centers......

Leather liner is in place of Alcantera liner.

Clear engine, is glass cover over engine, LIKE Gallarod, but NOT one piece.

Titanium package is SAME as Carbon Fiber package but it is in a clear white, stainless kind of color, not the standard grey carbon color....

Leather liner might be easier to clean though.

For a red exterior it's a tough call on the calipers... red/red might be ok, red/silver is safe, red/black is boring, yellow might be snappy, but with the solid red taillights now there might not be other yellow on the car anywhere to tie it to (unlike Ferraris, where it looks good to match the yellow of the shields).

I also prefer the roadster/06 wheels.

can i ask how you get your head liner all that dirty? its not like you can spill you drive through on it etc,

only thing i can see is if your really tall and rub your head on it alot.

I like the idea of color matched calipers (Rosso Vik) with factory black '07 or '06 titanium Roadster wheels

    or

dark blue or dark purple calipers which would make people pause and take a second look

Prestige has a Roadster: red on black with red inserts and red stitching if you are trying to visualize your color combo

I think you need to see the red metalic paint, is candy apple red and is just so much more better looking than the rosso vic.

I think rosso vic is candy apple, at least it was on my 99 SV.

Frank, buy a rosso vic 6-speed w/ carbon package and I would gladly take it off your hands in a couple of years.

I am curious to know what the diamond pattern interior will look like in smooth leather, as opposed to alacantra, and in different colors.

My first car had a vinyl headliner and it had a thick coating of dirt on it - when I got it and was giving it its first detail I had to scrub it down for a long while to get it all off. Mind you, I lived on an island at the time, so there was a lot of salt in the air that sticks and then gets dirty, and I think the previous owner smoked. It's not going to be something that gets dirty right away, but something that after a few years of driving with the windows open you look up and go, "oh crap."

I had a premature ejac. and posted as soon as I received the FedEx package. I did receive an 06 brochure with the options list for THEIR launch car. My car will be the first production car. No date yet on a build, but the sooner I get it spec'd the better. Probably sept build.

I called and found out that yes the Titanium is indeed a carbon fibre "color" but as I said earlier I won't get it.

I've actually sat in a Rosso Vik and I thought it looked candy apple (but it was inside w/no natural lighting at all. Beautiful color.

My Vanq has alcantara headliner, it's nice, but I've never seen a leather one I need to do my homework on that one.

    I'm leaning towards silver calipers.

Has anyone seen the geneva car? What color is that interior? black? grey? I'm thinking of either all black or black uppers, dark grey lowers w/solid black seats. I'm not too fond of seat inserts, but may consider them (leather though, not alcantara).

    Thanks again.

I know how the rosso vic looks like, but I went to Ultimate Motors and they have a Gallardo and Murcielago and as I thought, the dealership guys said that this color wasn't a new rosso vic, but candy apple red, I didn't get the factory name of the paint though. If anyone likes rosso vic then this candy apple will raise your eyebrows big time.
