Has anyone ordered the factory protective film for your Speciale?

If so how does it look/compare to the dealer after market install and is it to a higher standard compare to the dealer version?

Final Q, has anyone ordered a Speciale in matt colour with the factory protective film?

    Thanks

Forget about factory protection... Too expensive...
BTW it has to be done at the dealer anyway, so aftermarket is the better choice.

Every example I've seen is trumped by the local installer. Go with whoever your dealer uses.

On this subject does anyone know what the 'anti stone chipping" is?

Me as well. Xpel is way to go, they have templates. My car was their display car at SEMA.
Factory is just nose, has cool embossed horse, but useless for hood, rockers.
I've used Xpel since '99, HQ here, and they do great work.
Here's SEMA booth, check website for installers. Self heals even with 150+ hits. HTH

BTW, they have matte clear too. Tim Duncan's GTR has it, it was other SEMA car. They did matte stripe on mine, probably won't keep, it's over straight clear. Looks great though.
Hard to photo in sun, but I fiddled with contrast. Full center of top and down center to vents. Sorry for bird, it's a tradition for Fcars, and only pic that had enough contrast to show matte.
