they say in business that you need to speculate to accumulate

however all the specualtion on the stepneygate issue thats happening on here is accumulating nothing more than wild theories and the formulation of lynch mobs.

id hope that we are all members on here because we are ferrari fans, but lets not let that cloud our judgement and make us look foolish huh, so can i take this opportunity to suggest that we await further actual developments rather than make up our own wilder an wilder possibilities and condemn all and sundry before any real evidence is produced.

I think this thread should be placed as a sticky as a reminder to everyone who posts about the subject. Thanks Nick for the great words of wisdom.
It's too bad that only a few of us agree with you.

when people feel passionately this things happen...And this is FERRARI what we are talking about.

la passione di ferrari è infinita

But lets not forget this is a democratic information site, we are no Daily newspaper, nor an official source of information...

we are a chat room. free expression is what moves this...

some of us feel way too "touched by the events" and need to vent and find some others that might/might not share our point of view....opinions come and go, and that is what makes this a community.

Then...lets not just SHRINK our heads to a point in which speculation is SIN and discussing is NUCLEAR FLAME WAR and any cranky comment is due for an INSULT

the healthy and respectfull discussion creates concept multiplicity and enrichens others open enough to change or to disagree...hard proof or not.

You dont like to speculate?...well then you are free to watch the old "dumb box" with no interaction with whatever is going on in the world...

I find nothing wrong with speculation as long as it is labled as such and not presented as fact. In fact, I find it interesting. Often in life truth is stranger than fiction.

Can you imagine what the MCL people would be saying if the roles were reversed?

Auto racing is a sport, i.e., entertainment. It is not life and death. I refuse to let Fchat upset me.

Life is too short not to own a Ferrari and be an F1 race fan.

    Ciao and Forza Ferrari

don't worry about McL, the English press, always known for their integrity , would be having a field day

I just hope Ferrari spank them this weekend

I agree with Nick, I've been trying to stay out of the Stepney/Ferrari/McLaren threads. I'd rather hear of actual evidence found to support all the claims instead of all the bogus theories coming from not so credible new sources.

Totally agree. So far I've seen a heated debate but without personal insults. So in my opinion there's nothing wrong with the discussion about Stepneygate.

If we would have to wait for all the facts to come out before making comments then why debate at all?

And I don't see any lynch mobs forming, just some avid F1/Ferrari fans venting their thoughts. In real life you'd be surprised how little you'd get worked up about things that people say because you understand that they're not literally want the things to happen that they say. It doesn't make a difference when it's put on a board but some people forget that when they sit back and read it on their computer screen in their own time.

    Best, Peter
