An email i was sent: Thought this might be of interest to you. Found out by accident after I was flashed by a speed camera the other day and didn't get a ticket. Apparently recent government legislation changes, following on from the Freedom of Information Act give access to speed camera offences registered within the last twelve months and is placed on a freely available website. Did you know that every time you go even a mile or so over the speed limit it is registered and placed on the database? They only send a ticket if you are more than 10% plus 3mph over OR [and here is an interesting little known fact] if you receive over 20 "near misses" you can now check how many you have against your cars registered number. http://www.e-database.co.uk> For your first logon it will ask you for a password but click on 'Need a Password' and it will give you one in a pop up window. This can give you an early warning.
