    Don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, but if you pay them , they will put just about anything ( generally car related ) on....

    That's probably what's going on. The idea of watching guy's racing on TV that have more money then anything isn't too appealing. I know of a guy who was in the series last year and it cost him about $1M to do so. He backed his challenge car into the wall more then once I believe. I would go to see a race live though.

    Hopefully they will show the Saturday races. It was a demolition derby.

    It will probably be more of a "lifestyle peice" than good racing coverage.... they spent more time interviewing my wife than any coverage on my car.

    Saturday's race was a bit of a demo derby... I made it through clean though. VIR is fun, but very fast. Amatuer drivers and fast cars (especially w/o big downforce) will always make a carnage fest there ... in Sunday's race Grand Am cracked down. I was in traffic in 7th and got hit and spun at the oak tree. Lost a lot of spots. The guy did get a stop and go penalty... but apparently that didn't get me my spots back. :)
