Speed Channel

You are paying 60/month for Speed Channel? That's how much I pay for almost 400 channels including speed from Direct TV. The only time I watch Speed channel, is at F1 season.

 

HAHAHA! So does this mean you've had enough NASCAR and Pinks? I think you should watch it somemore... good thing is that March and F1 is just a few months away

 

Speed used to be good before it became the Nascar network. I used to love the Legends of Motorsport series. Now the only time I watch it is F1 season, and the occasional touring car race.

Who the heck pays for the Speed channel? Doesn't that come with basic cable?

 

Not in all areas..

I used to love the channel when it was more diverse. I really really miss seeing WRC. Pinks all out can be entertaining from time to time, but I rarely watch anything on that channel anymore.

I just wish BBC had Top Gear on more often.

 

Speed was cool when it was Speedvision (pre fox buyout).

However, every so often they have some cool touring car stuff.

I hate Nascar.

I'm also guessing that the $60/month is that Ed bought a new service just for speed (like Direct or Fios).

Anyway, in 90 days you will be glad you have it as there is no other F1 coverage. I would kill for ITV (those who have it and complain obviously don't have speed coverage) and I wish BBCA would show full episodes of TopGear not truncated versions.

I probably should move to the UK. All music and entertainment I like is British. If they just didn't drive on the wrong side of the road...

The most ultimate stupid show is "Super Bikes". How stupid... watching a bunch of guys:

1) doing wheelies
2) doing wheelies with 1 foot
3) standing on their seat
4) standing on their seat with 1 foot
5) sitting on the gas tank with their legs draped over the handle bars
6) doing doughnuts on a motorcycle
7) locking up the front wheel and making the back tire come off the ground
8) talking about how cool they are
9) start at #1 and repeat over and over

Did I forget anything??? Probably not. Let's make this into a series!

All while wearing blue jeans and a tee shirt. Stupid. How can anyone watch this stuff over and over.

 

A few looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong months

 

Think of all the money Ed is going to spend on Spice PPV and the Playboy specials waiting till March: that may be enough for a Fiat "major 15K service" By the way, do they make snow tires in 10 inch diameter?
