    Be worth a trip to Bar Harbor Supper Club on Gull Lake, MN, this summer the third weekend of August if you want to see some real hardware. Lee Anderson and John Allen usually bring a combined 15-20 boats and they’re all spectacular. Both have museums too.

    Yes, 2 great collections. In a previous life at Lake Tahoe I restored and maintained a couple of boats now in those collections.....

    Wow. I've driven quite a few interesting go-fast boats over the years, but nothing looking like that. I'm sure it would be an interesting and fun ride. Not particular fast by modern powerboat standards, but a lot of fun and an experience for life I'm sure.

    What's the top end on something like that w. 750 hp and a fixed shaft drive? 75-80 mph?
