Has anyone used this product? Does it fit tight and not damage the paint by flapping in the wind and would you recommend it

They make a good (and good looking) product, but like any bra, dirt tends to get in behind and as the bra shifts it tends to wears on the paint.

The new clear coatings do a better job without looking bad (or you could do both, for extra protection).

I think their product is crap. I bought one for my 328, if flapped like a fish out of water. At their request, I sent it to them for them to look at it. There was nothing wrong with it according to them. If you scrape (and you will, if you have a 328) it will tear, there's no way around it. Even with all this, they would not give me a refund. Use the money on a respray of the front bumper instead.

I ordered one with enough time to receive it before the 400 mile drive to Monterey. After it didn't come on time and I got a stone chip on my brand new Maranello, I met the owner at Quail Lodge and he comped me the "Nose Appliance" and the mirror guards. ($750 IIRC).

As far as the thing itself, the mesh made the car run noticeably hotter so I cut it away and it was fine after that. It took a day to put it on, it was tight and no dirt got in there.

*Edit* BTW, The Grigio Ingrid color match was perfect.

That's been my general experience with car bras, not specifically Speed Lingerie.

Either do the clear film (if you can deal with how it looks) or fill in the chips as they occur. And try to stay in a lane with no trucks in front of you.

I bought one in 2005 for my 328 and used it for two weeks. My comments that I sent to them back then:

    1. The quality is very good and the fit is spot on.
    2. However, there are some points that I don't like. The cover flaps very loudly at speeds over 30 mph. At 120, it sounds like two flat tires and can be heard inside the car with the windows up. It flaps along the top edge above the turn signals where the body curves out for the wheel arches.
    3. The fit is good, but it crooked around the turn signals. A little too low. The clips at the fender are aligned properly with the seams. I did have to create one slit on the driver's side for the body seam, which I had emailed you about when I bought it.
    4. Along the top edge under the hood, the hood has a support bar running front to back. When the hood closes, this rubs the leather and is creating a tear about one inch below the clip, center of the cover under the hood.
    5. At the bottom of the clips in the wheel wells, both sides are tearing away from the leather, about an inch each.
    6. Since all Ferraris are very low, they all scrape. Without a cover, this is easily absorbed by the lower valance. Put any Ferrari on a lift and you will see scrapes. With the cover, if the car scrapes, the cover rubs the ground and tears since it goes all the way below the leading edge.
    7. The fog lights have a textured surface. These rub the inside of the clear inserts and scratch them. This is also happening on the nose emblem.

I have one on my 512TR and it's paid for itself with some stone chips being deflected after a major resurfacing job happened here... tight, colour match is near perfect and most don't notice it until it's pointed out. Also, do wear on my paint, just keep it clean like anything else, and at strong wind speeds, not movement at all, but it is a challenge to get on given its perfect fit.....

I havce owned 2 of their bras'.
One for a TR, which I NEVER took off unless it got wet and 1 for my 360.
I now have a clear film on the fromt bumper of the 360 and only use it for trips and track events. I might as well use it when I have to.
I have nothing negative to say about their product. I met the original owners when they started back around 1996.
