    All you mates out there.fabio from australia looking for a small gearbox(speed reduction gearbox)

    size appox 100mm by 100mm
    input on top,output on bottom
    ratio 118:1

    Can't find it down under but I heard I can find it in Canada or the States.

    If anyone knows where I can buy this or who I can talk to that knows anything about it.Could you please reply.

    There are a chain of stores here in Canada called: "Princess Auto" which sells alot of surplus industrial & farm stuff (ie: crap), for good prices at least! I've often seen gearboxes there that can be used for whatever you'd want (but really not for automotive applications).

    There is/was a specialty Transmission shop here in Toronto that was once the best there was. They were having some troubles so I need to see if they are still around. They would build custom transmissions for anything among other fabrication including choppers. I will get back to you if I see that they are around.

    TomB may know them....They are/were at the corner of Dixie and Queensway? APR? Somhthin like that. I was in there once, they had fabrication machines and lathes till the eye can see.
