Dunno whether somebody brought this up already in the long race thread, but here it goes anyway:

They claimed Kimi was the first driver to arrive at Ferrari and score a victory on the first race since Fangio.

Nope: Mansell did that in 89 at the Brazilian GP

They did say that. You should e-mail Despain and get a bobblehead next week.

They made so many mistakes they're going to run the risk of causing a much dreaded bobblehead shortage. :)

I thought it was Il Leone on Easter Sunday in 1989. Thank you for preserving my F1 sanity.

It was the first time the Ferrari used a semi-auto gearbox in GP competition;Mansell had zero reliability with it, qualified and made arrangements to catch a flight home while the race would be winding down because he never thought the tranny would last the race distance.

I was pretty dissapointed with the Speed coverage for this race, this is just another thing to add to the pile. They didn't pay much attention to Hamilton who was doing spectacular for his first GP ever, and no mention of Sato's progress (granted in last years Honda) or of Kimi's fastest lap being just 1.1sec off the track record.
