Can someone who has installed SPEEDBLEEDER's in their brakes please post the size for both front and rear calipers. Also if you have the part number please post this. I am in the process of doing SS hose replacements and fluid changes so I would like to install the bleeder nipples while I'm at it. Thanks

I don't have my paperwork in front of me from when I did this on my car(308)but I ordered the ones for ATE calipers. They sent one size for all 4 but the front callipers took the next larger diameter. I believe the fronts were 8mm and the rear were 7mm. When I called them back to tell them the fronts were bigger they sent out the larger ones so hopefully they will remember and be able to help when you speak to them. I'll try to find my papers when I get home this evening.

Call them; there are a million sizes, both in long and short. They work great; I have them on my Lotus. Be sure not to overtighten them!

I called them today and they did not have the sizes listed. So I need to get the size , I don't want to take anything apart until I get the right ones. Thanks

Can't you just take one nipple from the front and rear to Pep Boys (who stocks Speed Bleeders)? You can't drive the car with them out but the lines won't leak.

Steve, I looked for the paperwork on the speed bleeders I put on my 308 and I couldn't find it. Like I said earlier, the folks at Speed Bleeder were helpful and when I discovered that the front calipers used the next diameter up, they send them out without charging me and I sent the two smaller ones back to them.

Walt do you remember if they were 8mmx1.25mm and 7mmx1.0mm threads.

Ken I don't know how your works but when i remove bleeder nipples the fluid just keeps coming out and I don't like recharging the master cyl. Also we have no PEP boys and the local Autozone does not carry them. My local NAPA or Big A only has a few so I want to make sure I have the right ones available when I do the job.

Steve I'm sorry I really don't remember. There may be one last place to look, I'll give it another try this evening.

Steve, I found one of my invoices from Speed Bleeder. It is for 4 Speed Bleeders Product ID SB8125LL purchased on 10/28/04. The bad thing is that these are only correct for the front or rear, unless I can put my hands on the other invoice I won't be able to tell which were the larger ones for the front for sure but I believe these went on the front of my 308. If you call Speed Bleeders you can ask them if they have records of my purchases around the above date, my name if you go this route is Walter Pfirman and this order number was 2004-10-2833. Keep in mind that I placed another order a couple weeks before or after this date. Hopefully they keep better records than me and they will be able to help. Or you can order 2 of the above number and see which end of your car they fit then order the other 2 accordinally.

Walt , thanks. I ordered 8mm for the front and 7mm for the rear. I am using the porsche sizes so we'll see how it works . I'll post the correct size after I do the job.
