Well,we'll have to keep our eyes peeled for Andreas at the Spanish GP. And,hope for another Schumi win. Rubens needs to get on the Ball,now...

Also, there is a show on Speedchannel called "Barrett-Jackson Car Search". They were "highlighting" the Ferrari 308 on this weeks show. What to look for, about the cars,etc...And,they(Keith Jackson) showed a Black/Tan '85 Q'valve car. The 308's are a bit "Rarer" than I thought,(maybe not by Ferrari Standards...but,compared to '69 Camaro's,and '70 Challengers they certainly are....:) )...Not to mention all that have been beat to death,Rusted, abused, purchased by someone who can't afford to maintain it properly,or wrecked by some Rock Star or Doped up rich kid. Rarer and Rarer every day...:) Regardless. I'm keeping mine...:)

    Hey Frank,

Im a Doped up rich kid so watch out! Last Barret-Jackson auction I saw was just before spring in March I believe. They sold a 360 Challenge with very little miles and that was even highlighted in some book for just over 100K. Even the commentators joked that should have put a bid on that bargain. A few cars later some hot rod Lincoln Zephyr went over half a million and was being touted as the most prestigious custom hot rod on the road today. I thought it was simply crazy, the Lincoln had nothing that really distinguished it to me as reflecting that price. I just kept imagining this guy giving a tour of his wonderful car collection walking past the last F40 Enzo signed off, the Caddie Elvis rode in everyday, past Henry Ford's first bicycle to show his guest, " Check it out, my million dollar Zephyr!"

LOL! yes,Rocketboy,I was one once meself. But,I never totalled out any cars...especially,an Exotic. I was at the old St.Charles Motorsports once and saw a Red 328 that only had, something like 3500 original miles, that some kid,who was Wasted, crunched the Front end while Big Daddy was on Holiday in Europe. :)

As far as car prices go...I can't believe what I see every month in Hemmings Motor news. Cars that I had in High School are in the mid Tens of Thousands of dollars now. (Camaro's,GTO's,'Cuda's,Challengers,etc...) Those were cars that we bought for $1500.00 or less back then!

But,I sincerely think that 3X8's are next to go up. 246 Dino's are approaching,at,and over $100K now. Doesn't seem too long ago that those,"Not Real Ferrari's" were in the Teens and $20's.

And,if Craig Jackson is telling people to start buying them(308's) ...and He knows...then,that is a good thing.
