    Hey, I know there has been other posts about this. But I had a 2010 458 and the speedo was on the right, all the time. I took delivery of my 2011 about a month ago and just noticed that the speedo is on the right EXCEPT when the stereo is on and you are viewing the stereo controls. When you press and hold "back" the speedo swaps back to the right.

    Just FYI as I know there has been other comments on it. Here is a photo:

    Spoke to the mechanic at my dealer on this. He thinks there will be a fix for safety reasons to have the speedo on the left. If the radio is on there is no speedo except for the small digital read out. He said for US safety reasons they likely will have to have a fix that the Speddo is always showing.

    Let's see if that happens

    I took delivery today of a July production 458 with speedo on left aand the option to move it to the right screen if stereo or nav not on. Also came with Michelin Supersports

    My speedo never showed on the left it is always on the right, but i have switch between the radio or speedo.

    I have sent my car to the service center to update my car software. I hope it will get the speedo option.

    Didn't they point this out during the Top Gear Review? I'm just surprised that Ferrari hasn't fixed it since then.

    I've found the digital numbers on the left work for me and I haven't had the analog view on for over a month.
