Hello Folks, In changing the sending unit is it best to do it from the top of the engine or from the bottom? Thoughts? Thanks, G
On the later cars with the brass colored sender It is simply done with the right wheel removed. The largest socket I have is 1-1/4 inch. Fits perfectly.
Be sure to bench test the new sensor and insure the wires are installed into their correct position in the connector. I bought an old style one from Superformance that I found had the wires reversed. And as others have noted passenger side rear wheel well to install.
Wheel well .....correct. I was thinking the opinion was to remove the inner wheel well. That does not seem to be necessary. Cheers
