As Boxer owners are aware, the steering wheel blocks most of the left half of the speedo and the right half of the tach. So, when driving my BB512i, I can't see how fast I'm going until I get over 140kph or tell when I'm near redline. Since most of my driving is done under 140kph and redline is the most important part of a tach, I have thought of swaping them so the tach is on the left and the speedo is on the right. While I know that would not be "concour" correct, it would sure make it easier to monitor your speed and RPM in normal pleaseure driving. Has anyone ever tried such a swith?

Maybe it would be easier to buy a bigger steering wheel.

Are you already using a steering wheel extension? Moving the aperture in the steering wheel closer to you eyeballs will give it an apparent larger size -- just a thought...

I would turn the instruments a little clockwise and anticlockwise. so you see always what you want to see.

You can't do that on a BB512i. While their faces are round, the instruments themselves are square
