speedo turns off while driving

97 355 during 35 mile run on highway at about 20 mins the engine will buck for a moment and then the speedo slowly goes to zero and wont come back.The buck from engine only happens 1 time.Once the car is parked for about an hour the speedo works again.I need to find which speed sensor supplies signal to engine and speedo.Thanks for the help
