    The speedometer in my 512tr reads 10mph at a dead stop. It seems to be about 10mph off throughout the rest of the speed readings. Can I remove the guage and make an adjustment to correct the problem?

    That's normal; look at your tach too when engine off.

    Neither gauge will go to zero.
