Shot in San Diego last week while Robb was in town on a project for his day job as a landscape/architectural photographer... so I took him and his camera/gear for a spin and we stopped and took these. (To be fair, I promised to shoot his new 355 with my iPhone if/when I get back to Arizona.)

What a great car! Amazing to see the before photos prior to the restoration - and this car was raced extensively.

Fun to see bullfighter and experience the open car. I don't pretend to be an automotive photographer but liked the results with the Nikon d800e.

I think this is the first time I've seen finished photos. Nice work on the restoration as well as photos!

Very nice! It's an early one too. 1955 or 1956? Mine is a 55 Pre A #80426. Great little cars

It's a May (pretty sure) 1956 build, #82191. The Porsche CoA was largely blank. I got the paint code information from the Reuter records, courtesy of Steve Heinrichs who did the research for his book.

#82171 also lives here in San Diego, and has a build date in late April.

I believe my car was built in 1954 and finished in early 1955 and then sold. My hubcaps are 1/55 and my wheels are 2/55. Will you guys be attending the greystone concourse on June 23?

Have not heard samurai used in that context before. I sense a website possibility...

Unfortunately, no. Unless the restorer wants to take it there on my behalf, but I think he's only interested in Dana Point.
