I just discovered that Firefox will spell check my posts.

WOW~!!! I get little red underlines when I misspell something.

May not seem like a big deal, but it's enough for me to drop IE7 like a hot potato. Although Firefox doesn't seem to know how to spell potatoe.

    Oh well.

And it doesn't know how to spell FerrariChat!!!

    To whom do we speak?

I have a google tool bar with spellcheck. It has served me well thus far. It nailed your "potatoe" which I assume you put in there for emphasis. It also translates into languages other than english.

Firefox is the shizzle. Been using it forever, and refuse to change. Wifey uses Opera.

The spell check is great, but it doesn't offer any suggestions, so if you misspell something and you can't figure out the right spelling, you have to look it up. Or is there an option somewhere I missed for this?

You have to have the latest version of Firefox.

Then it is on all the time, until you shut it off.

    you can't be serious.

i used Maxthon [pretty much an IE shell/skin] up until ie7 came out, then i switched to firefox.

the open-sourceness of Firefox lends itself well to all kinds of useful plugins and doodads that, when you start using them, you'll wonder how you ever got by without.

FF is A LOT better than IE7, everything about FF is better and you can tweak FF to make is a lot faster too.

You can add to the dictionary so it doesn't mark stuff like FerrariChat .. or Potatoe.

What I DO NOT understand is why some people REFUSE to make their websites compatible with FF. It's really aggravating. I use IE Tab for those, but jeez. WTF?
