I don't care for Rolex, but that is a nice watch.

Daytona's are my favorite Rolex...........give me that watch with a blue face with a gold crown and gold links in the center of the bracelet and I'd be all set.

That description (in bold) could also be said about Ferrari's. Hmmmmmm..... though there usually is a reason for that long standing reputation ;)

Yes it is clean, simple and classy. I'd wear it!!:p

I've always loved my Breitling collection, but last week I heard all the rap stars want them now. So I guess they all have to go, and I'll find another less known brand. I bought mine when only pilots wore Breitlings, and they sent me Swiss candy every year.

Don't panic........ Rap stars are fad people.....

Also, I'd bet they are interested in the Bentley versions, so your std. Navi isn't on their radar screen.

I have been trying to get one of those from local ADs with no luck! Rolex limits the stainless steel daytona production so the AD's only sell it to _very_ good customers or you can get yourself on couple-year long waiting list.

The more expensive stainless steel and gold or fully gold Daytona is easy to get, just the cheaper stainless steel is hard to buy at MSRP.

Btw, Rolex makes almost 1,000,000 watches a year!

c'mon guys if you aren't into fine timepieces why bother posting your opinion on this thread??? different strokes for different folks thats all. heck some folks would think it's ridiculous to spend 60k on a car!!! me, i love watches but would not spend $20 on a bottle of wine........

check this link on an older thread of mine- it's not quite as black as the hublot but i think it cool. i didn't end up buying it....i've decided that i'll prob get a tactical chronograph (military issue)............but i did get a nice looking all black chronograph a few months ago......for $20 bux! made by armitron!!! serious..

You are right, in Canada you have priority if you are a previous owner and there is still a 2 year wait without color prefrence. (something like Ferrari)
A third party purchase could cost $$$$ more than list, crazy stuff !!

Ok, I will pipe in, I have an addiction, watchs, lighters, pens. But since this topic is on watchs, I have no issues on spending 10,000 on a fine time piece. Have on several occasions. Had to have a Cartier Tank Francais Chronoflex, all 18kt. Had to have the new Rolex Daytona, D series, all stainless and white face. love these watchs. and several others in the safe. So if your into a fine time piece its worth it. Hey you can get filled up on a Big Mac, I would rather have the Filet at Mortons!
