Not trying to make it look like a canvas top. I happen to like the two-tone exterior option available for the coupe. Perhaps you would have liked it more if I had blackened the A-pillars also. My goal was to make the profile closer to the coupe from a distance. Oh well, to each his own!
Why did you choose yellow & black though? I say it again, black roof, and black interior, on a convertible? Makes no sense to me...
Black interior really depends on geographic location. I personally never liked any color for a yellow car except black. Not a fan of yellow/tan. As far as the roof, I couldn't see using any other color with the yellow, although I have seen a few other two-tone combos that I like.
Not true here. May be bcuz it's 8,000 ft above sea level. I do close the top when parked. Vegas is too hot for black in the summer. I wonder when Ferrari will get air conditioned seats like on my 2011 Boxster S.
You may not be trying but you are succeeding. It's pretty fake. That's why I didn't blacken the lower waste in mine either. An old design adage is "if you want it to disappear, paint it black". If you like it, that's fine. I'm just saying it's not for me.
I really don't see much difference between this and the top option on the California. Just wondering do you consider the 458's and 599's with the black tops "fake" also. If so, then I understand your point. Afterall, I didn't say wrap it in cloth. But, like I said "to each his own". Image Unavailable, Please Login
I do agree to you on each to his own, FChat isn't a place for other people to rant and talk down on other peoples tastes and preferences without giving them constructive feedback. I'm not claiming that anybody is doing that, but lets keep it in mind. But again I do agree, it looks silly with a black hard top. If you go with the black top you should go with the black a-pillars as well, but that's MY humble opinion. Think about how boring it would be if every F was Rosso Corsa!

When is the expected delivery? PS, I understand that's your old GT2 at Steve Harris imports. Very nice as well.
May/June regular transport. April if air freight. I'm actually suprised its still there. Love Porsches.....love Ferraris more

Going a bit OT here, but does anyone have a pricelist they may be willing to share? My dealer contact has yet to send me one. Doesn't seem like he's received it yet (said he would send when he got it).
