    I hadn’t actually had the occasion (or desire) to drive my 348 with the top up, until today. Aurally, it was a very different experience and I have to say, less pleasant. With the top down it’s all glorious exhaust noise and a dash of gearbox whine. Lovely.

    With the top and windows up it’s much more valve train noise emanating from behind the firewall. Not so lovely.

    Have others had this same experience?

    I have similar experience with 348 TS. Quite a big difference even with targa roof. I assume with real Spider the difference in aural experience is even larger.
