Spider owners issue with leather top cover

    Just got my car delivered the other day and love it!

    The only issue is the leather cover for the conv top. It looks like the inside foam? lining is deteriorated and is now coming out through the fabric pours like foam granules.

    Each time I try to install the cover the conv top is covered in light yellow foam granules and they are quite sticky.

    Anybody else finding this issue and did you find a fix? Thinking of just cutting out the black inner fabric layer.

    Yea, same here. My deteriorating foam flakes off as black dust and is not sticky. I give the top cover a good shaking out before installing but I don't think it helps much. I have not though up any way to avoid the dusting other than cutting out the foam sheet. At this point I don't think it is really doing anything to cushion the leather from the folded top frame the way it is.

    I have the same yellow "paprika". It's been posted before. Mines not too bad so I just deal with it. Others have removed the inner lining apparently without any problems. Let me know if you remove yours and how it turns out. I may do mine next.
