After looking unsuccessfully to more than the usual list of suppliers, I had a local shop make a boot for my spider, its terrific, the shop now has a pattern for boots for both the 2.0 and 2.4 liter cars. If anyone is interested I can supply the contact info, I have no relationship with the shop or its owner.

    Hi Michael,

Yes, I would like to have that contact info. Thank you. I'm looking for someone to make a light weight cotton canvas cover to totally enclose the targa top when it's behind the seat. I have my Simpson shoulder harness belts hanging against the firewall behind the seats. It's likely that they will scratch my new paint on the top as I put it in and take it out.

Also, Buddy told me about Looper's radiator service in Rockville which you and he have succesfully used. I'll be using them soon for a radiator and A/C condenser "renewal."

Are you referring to the rare Sebring soft top?

I am also looking to obtain a boot for my spider top and came across your post from a few years ago. Would appreciate it if you could email me your fabricator's contact information and perhaps a pic of the boot if you have one. TIA

Guys, this post is talking about FIAT Dino Spiders, not the Sebring top.

I called Rutlands this week. They're out of stock and will be contacting their Italian supplier to see if they can make more. They said they should have an answer for me on Monday.

I guess I'm a little confused by the terminology being used. I'm looking for the cover for the top on my Ferrari (not Fiat) 246GTS that goes behind the front seats.
