Seems to be more cars out earlier, but this race tends to be brutal.

 

lots of contact thus far, in addition to the mechanical failures.

Carol just called from the track. Feeling there too. Many cars out. Attendance 250K plus.
She says they have never seen this many people at the track at 1:15 AM before.

 

I last went 25 years ago,hopping to go next year.
