I dont know? maybe if Sebastian did not have problems with overheating rear brakes he would have been fighting for the lead?
Nice avatar haha.. Er well IMO cool temps seemed to have juggled the pecking order. Button smooth style getting no where fast can't get heat into those tyres, maybe Vettel same thing. Ham aggressive style = heat. I'm just guesssing but I think Pirelli have tweaked their tyre life as well. I didn't know Vet had any problems you maybe quite right.
Good points, Sebastian ran a lot of the middle part of the race with the brake bias all the way forward because the team told him his rear brakes were overheating. Pirelli increased the durability of the softs, they were designed to last near 30 laps.
Sounds like people looking for excuses for Vettels lack of performance. Its got little to do with brakes - he himself admitted in the interview that he had a small issue with the brakes in the middle part of the race but said he dealt with it well. Sorry guys but there's only one excuse for his performance at this GP - its simple he's just not that good when he's not leading. Two unforced errors, continuous brake locking and never looking like a threat to Massa, sorry but Vettel just looked amateur, just like he always does when he actually he has to do some racing.
Agree - replay the video and you see clearly that those cold tyres were a handful for that corner and Lewis was really hooked up. So, put those two things together at that instant and Lewis went by - nothing sensible Fernando could do to stop that.
Not looking for excuses mate just reasons, I was also dissapointed with the way Sebastian drove and have my doubts about his racing skill whilst in the pack but to tell you the truth I was more dissapointed in Michael's race
I don't think he necessarily became a gentleman, but he probably guessed wrong. Lewis is infamous for taking the inside line away from the driver in front of him, so it's probable that FA went to block it (and lost traction) while Lewis continued to hammer away from the outside. It may have simply been a case of Lewis breaking his tendency while Fernando was caught defending against it.
