Massa just confirmed it in an interview to Italian TV. He didn't go back out because they thought his time was sufficient. What a mistake!!
Massa? WTF? Ferrari gambled and got burned on this one. That session was a revelation though...I thought the Scuderia was showing supremacy following their practice results and early on in Q1, then everyone else decided to let us in on the joke. Those low 1:35's seem inconsequential now. Crap...I thought it was going to be a good weekend.
Ferrari should really reconsider their management team. Last year Massa could had win if there was no stupidity pit stop error. This year is even more ridiculous when making serious decisions!!
In fairness, things changed dramatically over the last 2 mins. They were out before Massa knew what hit him. #$%^
They let him out of the car. So when decision time came and he was one off the bubble it was too late. He couldn't get back in in time. If he'd stayed in the car he could've done a last flyer. That's slack management.
Oz StupidCar teams run more professionally than this lot. McLaren and Ferrari don't deserve to win the way they're going this season.
