Nice to see Tafel adapt to the F-car so quick. Glad to see Dirk do it over the Porsche(s)! Bruce, gonna post any of your usual superb pics? :)

I'm blushing - Sorry, I did not go to this event. I will have F cars from Atlanta.

I saw Mika Salo in the pits with his feet in an ice bucket, looking as though he just recovered from passing out. Jon Beekhuis mentioned the AC wasn't working in the Risi 430. Pardon my ignorance, but those cars have air? I thought drivers wore cool suits alone.

Yeah but ferrari is turning it off or rigging it not to work so they get the bigger restrictors resulting in a little more power than the competition. And with AC not working its not drawing the power they gain from the restrictors.

Hopefully things will be much better at Long Beach. We were at the LMS race in Barcelona and in the autograph session, Bruni (driving a 430 for Virgo out of the UK) was telling us about the problems of #62. I'll be glad when the street circuits are over and it's back to the real circuits - a lot less carnage anyway.

Thank you both. I honestly thought they used a 'dry ice through the suit somehow' and had no idea a/c was even available due to the power loss I envisioned.
