1. Don't bypass the filters. f**k, **** 5**t etc. All are filter bypass violations (Shown here for informational purposes only. But I may have to ban myself anyway.) It just raises the blood pressure of whomever it's aimed at.
2. Personal attacks are unpleasant, impolite, and not befitting a country or its people that we hold in such high regard. (That's you guys.)
3. BREATHE DEEP. HOLD IT. EXHALE - REPEAT. Now if you're still pissed off at someone else's post. DO IT AGAIN.
4. Remember, it's only the internet.
5. Repeat step 3.
6. And finally, assume your wife, daughter, mother and grandmom are all going to see your posts, and know you made them. Are you gonna edit that post now?

What is it with you guys? Aren't most of you chums of a sort? Don't you want to get along, at least a little bit??? Or do you really prefer to have this constant undercurrent of anger and disrespect? DAMN, there are some nastygrams getting tossed in here.

A little more civil in here wouldn't hurt would it? So chill a bit. Give it a try. I don't spend a lot of time in here, I only got dragged in because it's a racing thread, but WOW!!! The way you guys interact is sure an eye opener.

I didn't aim those comments hither and yon. If you saw criticism of yourself in them, perhaps the shoe fits a bit.

Don't take it too personally. All I was trying to do was restore some calm so the topic at hand didn't get obscured by the giant steaming piles of poo that were getting chucked about.

Apparently some of the toss-ees don't appreciate it, and so some of the tossers needed to lob their throws. The missles that were flying in here also wiped out some innocent observers. That's all. No offense meant, just some genteel persuasion for my Aussie brothers.

No go forth, wander about the internet, have some innocent fun. But please, don't splatter the bystanders.
