Race gets started in about 8 hours. Hopefully Ferrari can keep up their qualifying pace, while the McCheatins crash into each other.

That would be the ideal situation, wouldn't it? I would love to see Nico make a move on the McLarens. Even if we get around Turn 1 safely, there is still the problem about the run Alonso or Lewis could get coming out of Eau Rouge to catch a Ferrari.

bit harsh - LH hasnt done anything untoward
besides any true race fan wants to see a race, not a parade.
if you want someone to win then try wishing they win by putting in a good performance not by wishing ill luck on their competitors - not even if its alonshole you want to crash

Yes, Lewis has done something, he is on a team that has been cheating.
Obviously I want the Ferrari to do well (1-2), and the McLarens to do bad, anyone else who wants the WDC would say the same.

Mclaren's been at it again..The Times is out with an article this morning stating someone within Woking has stolen 800 pages from Spyker/Tata. All of it on 2008 discount airfare packages.

THEY ALL CHEAT - including Ferrari.

tomorrow i will be supporting 4 or so cars.
    The 2 Ferraris
    Lewis Hamilton
    Jenson Button.

but i want my people to do well, not that the competitors crash into each other.
but then im an actual F1 fan.

    Highly doubt that.
I'm supporting one team today,Ferrari, and whatever can make them win the title. If you look at the standings Ferrari/Kimi needs some help to win the WDC, so a DNF or crash for a McLaren would be appreciated. Normally I don't want crashes, but with 4 races left and with Kimi down 18 points he needs some help.

perhaps you could explain why they had a car at the start of the season that was designed to pass the test for movement of the floor but when used in anger allowed the floor to move more than allowed?

Just before the last run in Q3 Ferrari held one of the cars in the pits after the tire change and a mechanic went around back and pushed down on the wheels making sure the suspension was OK. I almost had a heart attack when I though the Ferrari had a problem. It was with about three minutes left in Q3.

So therefore it met the requirements of the rules correct? The rules were the floor had to pass the test and it did I don't call that cheating. McLaren broke the rules section 151c of the sporting code, that I consider cheating.

+1 finding a lope hole in the rules and cheating are two different things. So McLaren was caught cheating and now everybody's doing it? Might ban all teams then. Some McLaren defenders were screaming "innocent until proven guilty" so now they've been found guilty suddenly every team's guilty without any evidence. That's rich...

you're wrong, the floor flexed alright but the opposite way that was illegal , what the cheats did with the information from Stepney was to ask for a clarification of the bending the opposite way and as there had been no directive stating it couldn't move that way it was not made illegal until the clarification was issued by Charlie Whiting, he says he issues about 10 clarifications per season

I too will be hoping the McL expire, not crash , just not finish, this is still a case of cheats prospering because the drivers points have remained.

Anyway, Ferrari 1-2 with Kimi first only because he has more points than Massa, he's still too erratic for my liking

not quite what i heard, but if you could well be correct (too tired to argue :p)
the way it was explained to me was that the floor wasnt allowed to move in the vertical plane more than x amount - but the test itself only looked for movement in one direction.

the fact remains it was deemed not to be in the spirit of the rules and regulations.

what? not in the 'spirit' of the rules and regulations? not this again, cuz... F1 is ALL ABOUT pushing, bending, exploiting, the given rules and regulations without actually 'breaking' them. it's not 'cheating', it's F1. the engineers again found a work-around within that particular 'rule' as it was...until a certain team asked for 'clarifications'... we all know how that little doozy came about...
