Oh no Barichello is back in the pits. Smoke coming from the rear of the F2005. Reports say it could be gearbox related. :(

Go Ferrari!!! Atleast Michael did well and qualified in P2. Front row!!! Woo hoo!!! The boys in red are back!!!

Looks to be a very interesting race.

Thanks for relaying the coverage, Axemansean. :)

Promising grid layout, but you gotta feel bad for Rubino.

I hope they can figure out what went wrong with Rubens. But this is a perfect showing for all naysayers, BAR and Ferrari on the front row. Boy am I happy that Button and MS are on the front row, exactly where they should be.

Consider the Williams-BMWs: from 1st and 2nd on the grid at the last race to 13th and 14th here! Williams must really be on the outs with BMW.......

MS's run suprised the crap out of myself. I just honestly wonder how little fuel he and Button are running in the car??

As for Rubens it looks like he had the same thing that happened to MS In the second practice session. When i saw the smoke in practice i though "OH Crap there went the engine!!!"

Here is a shot Micheal's car starting to smoke.

Yet another scorcher out there!! Track temp 52C.

Schumy surprised me, as did Button. The Renaults were in great form. Should be interesting for tommorrow.

BTW Is it me, or was there just an ABUNDANCE of babes in the stands.

I had a feeling that we would get a nice surpise. Maybe we get a podium finish tomorrow.

Very surprised that Button got pole. In the long runs Renault and McLaren are looking way better than BAR. Someone will past Button after the long straight next to the casino. Go MS!

I think they are very very heavy on fuel. They did okay in practice times ~p6-8.

You may be right. But I think McClaren was heavy on fuel too. Watch out for Big Mc...............one stop strategy may be in their hand or a long first session as things string out the another stop in between...........wammy. Look for Michael to pit before the 10th lap.

It wouldn't surprise me if they get overtaken at the start (as always), although Webber is so far back, that if he were to be overtaken, it would be by a Minardi.

The first two corners at Montreal are very very tight at the start of the race. Hopefully Webber won't shunt himself out of the race at the first corner again...

I'd say both McLaren (not McClaren) and Renault are heavy on fuel.
Likewise, Ferrari and BAR are probably light.

I think Frank finally has shown BMW they are down on power. Look for them to be slow at Indy unless a new engine program is developed in time.
