Trulli is on pole and Kimi is in P2. MS 5th and Rubens 7th. Not a good day for Williams, Webber 9th and Nick 15 Fisi out qualified Fernando, but we don't know their fuel strategies. I say that Fisi will get up to 2nd and Alonso to 3rd by the first corner. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alonso said that Fisi had less fuel then him. Ferrari was strong and suposedly Rubens and Michael are carrying a little more fuel then others.
These times could prove meaningless if the micheling teams are not allowed to race on new tyres tomorrow. I've said this befor: the one tyre rule has a loophole. If you make your tyres bad enough you are probably allowed to change them. Bridgestone has taken a safer route and is penalised for it by Michelin who is pushing the envelop (over the edge it seems at Indy). Yea, I saw this in the other thread. So say 6 cars race (or 9 if each of the 3 teams get 3 cars), that would be one of the most boring races, even for Ferrari fans. The only way I see anyone enjoying a 6 car race would be team Jordan for scoring a podium (Minardi would be 3 laps back). Say a 9 car race, then Ferrari fans would be happy because of a Ferrari 1-2-3. I still think Michelin will be able to race tomorrow, the FIA wouldn't stop them this close to the race. Next race is another story...
If they do let them change tires then Ferrari should be able to change theres as well.....if they don't let Ferrari change there tires then all Michelin runners to the back of the field.
FA hates when Fisi is infront of him. He seems nervous... I didn't heard Fisi saying that FA had less fuel than him in Montreal. anyways.. Ferrari 5th and 7th is not bad. Will this be Toyota's 1st victory in F1? Not this time in my opinion. prediction: 1) Raikkonen 2) Fisichella 3) Trulli 4) MS 5) Alonso 6) Button 7) Sato 8) Barrichello
When they were doing an interview in between runners today. FA said that he had slightly more fuel then fisi and he laughed a little. I dunno if thats a good sign or not.
I tell you this sure is turning out to be an interesting season, even though Ferrari' hasn't been doing very well.
We're enjoying the corner 7/8 berm. Stop by the guys with the satellite dish. http://www.dellanave.com/indy05/DSC_0067_small.JPG
Kimi Qualfies Second, Perfect. Hope he wins Maybe another 1st for Kimi and 2nd -3rd for ferrari. But i highly doubt it!!! But i can dream can't i?
I'm very happy for Truli and Toyota. But, I think P2 on the grid is a better starting position, not dirty. Kimi will beat him to turn one. Who knows who's running with what fuel load. But, MS said he's running with quite a bit of fuel. I'm predicting he'll be on the podium. I just hope Truli and Kimi are there with him. Close that gap to Alonso!
