that looks like one cool towrig, but I don't like that grill at all, and IMO is a waste of $7200 that personally I would rather use towards a sound system, engine mods etc..

How does the Freightliner compare to the offerings from International like the CXT or MXT? I think the CXT is pretty close spec wise.

If anyone is interested this guy builds some pretty cool custom F650s tow rigs, probably not as heavy duty as the Freightliner since it's max tow rating is about 8k lbs less but still cool.

I have a 40' Cigarette offshore powerboat and also a car trailer for the Ferraris. The tow rig is a little over the top since the heaviest load is the boat and trailer at about 13,000 pounds. The cars and car trailer barely hit 10,000 pounds. The Freightliner is rated to tow almost 30,000 pounds.

I don't like that $7200 grill either. Complete waste of money! I love the CXT rig and those custom F650s are awesome. I could have gone with a custom 650 but it just did not compare to the Sportchassis. The interior is like a house. The back seat folds flat electrically into almost a queen size bed. With all the options it is just a plush setup. But like I said above ... it's a bit of an overkill for what I am using it for. Nevertheless ... I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Another angle of the truck that shows the factory grill which I think blows that $7200 grill away!

If anyone is interested this is International's new MXT. From what I understand is based on the CXT, but has more suspension travel and is more offroad oriented at the expense of towing and payload capacity.

It sort of reminds me of the old power wagons and army trucks for some reason.
