    For those that dont know me, I'm the organizer of the Big SoCal Euro Gathering's in San Diego to Los Angeles as well as the NorCal vs SoCal Euro events. I also the founder of SoCalEuro.com. The last couple of smaller events, we had over 600 cars each. The Big SoCal Euro Gathering event we do at Qualcomm Stadium has over 1700 cars.

    I'm setting up a big event of sports car/euro car enthusiasts the weekend of SEMA in Las Vegas. The event will be coproduced by the guys at Targa Trophy Rally race.

    The event will be called Sports Car World Expo

    We'll be using ARIA Resort and Casino as the host hotel.

    The facebook page is dead with no real recent updates as well as this thread. I'll be in the area, so I might just take a walk there and see if anything is going on.

    What is this thing? I've looked at all the links and I can't figure out what it is. Is it just a bunch of people showing up with 15 year old Audi's, VW's, and Porsche's?

    And, if it's at Aria, where? There's no parking there except in the garage. That's a pretty strange place for a show.

    And, are we supposed to bring our cars? How long will it be? Is there an entrance fee?

    I'm trying to figure out why I should spend my afternoon there....

    Sorry for being so tough but for someone who wants us to attend, you have to do a better job to convince us.

    ...but, I'll have 5 or 6 drifters with me that weekend. We could put on quite a little drifting show for a little excitement there.

    its the first time we've done this event in Vegas.

    But its basically a gather of sports car owners and enthusiasts along side the start of the Targa Trophy Rally race, http://www.targatrophy.com/

    It is open to exotics, european cars, american cars, japanese sports cars and whatever else is part of the community of sports cars. It is setup informally. It is a free event. Bring your car and show it off and meet new people.

    I took a walk by in the afternoon. There was an Apollo Gumpert which was very kool to see :)

    It seemed underpowered...couldn't do the donuts that my cars were doing. It was nice that they were giving rides to kids, though.
