Our new site is up (finally!!) and although it still needs to a few things to be complete, I wanted to share it with the forum. It is www.sportsclassicsnyc.com

I was fortunate to meet some of you at the Bullrun start last week and would like to put together an open house day for you guys to check our place out.

Looking for some feedback as to whether that would be of interest. We recently also closed a deal to be the NY distributor for Piloti Driving Shoes and will have an online store running as of next week, as well as shoes in house for people to see and try on.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

nice , finally, finally,, Andrew Hooray, hip hip hooray.... I have a few q's though..

Don't know where Park street brooklyn is? near subway, near LIE or grand central for ez eastbound trip?

Don't see any of the cars covered, are car covers not allowed?

Do we get our own dedicated park/lock space? 24 hour in/out service? do you have a city parking garage license, so we can qualify for tax rebate?
monthly rate? multiple vehicle discount? F-chat club discount? A/C?

Y'a know, NYC is such a tough town for a car guy...it really sucks, ( hey even the f-cars in the Park ave showroom are scratched...) we need a guy like andrew, but why brooklyn? Manhattan is losing automotive facilities so fast, it seems on the west side here we lose a car parts, or a gas station or a repair shop every day!,
when will the Manhattan shop open, we need you. we all can't fit in west towers much longer, it is damn tight in there all those polls..yikes!

We are really excited to be able to offer this service to the NY car crowd. Being in the business, as well as owning cars ourselves here, we know what a headache it can be sometimes. Originally, we had planned to open the facility in Manhattan but the lack of space and cost of things made this a better choice for the moment. We still plan on expanding and that would most likely see us moving in the city.

As for some of the other questions:

    - cars can be covered, it's really up to the owners choice. Since they are cleaned and checked frequently, most owners tend not to go with a cover.
    - the cars do get a dedicated spot and since this is a specialty storage, cars are moved only when they are cleaned, checked and being taken out. Unfortunately, it is not a 24 hour garage but our system of pickup/delivery and our TriBeCa location allows for easy use. For example, if you wanted to use the car for the weekend, but weren't sure what time, we would take the car to our TriBeCa location where you could pick up at your convenience (open 24 hours). The same for dropping off, say you were coming back to the city late Sunday night, you could drop-off at TriBeCa at any time and we would bring the car back to its spot the following morning. That's just one scenario, we are capable of accommodating just about anything the owner may need.
    - we do not have a city parking license, but that is in the works and you will be able to qualify for the tax break.
    - there is a multiple car discount, as well as an F-Chat discount. Pricing is custom to the plan and package you need.
    - our location is central to both the LIRR, subways, and major highways for both eastbound LI, upstate NY and NJ. Park Avenue is located 5 minutes of the Manhattan Bridge, adjacent to the Old Brooklyn Navy Yard.

I would love to setup an open house for you guys to come see the facility and discuss the various services we offer.
