    Hi All

    I have a 07 F430 when I put the car in sports mode, it appears to shut off after a few seconds ONLY IN THE SPORTS MODE, never in the Race mode.

    Any one know the reason why?

    Which light shuts off? The illuminated "SPORT" in the multi function display? If so, that's normal. Since Sport is intended as the default driving mode, the display only tells you when you are in something else. Illustrations in the owner's manual confirm.

    If the teeny little light on the manettino switch, you have a faulty switch.

    Yes- the Illuminated SPORT shuts off, did not know that was normal.
