What is the cause of those annoying spots on modern glass and how can you get rid of them? They're on the side windows, the engine bay cover.

Somewhere here yesterday I read a post from a guy who said he had great results from
using a claybar on his window. He said the clay "turned black."

Without seeing pictures, they could be hard water spots. Clay, polish, then glass cleaner should take care of them!

    +1 on clay, works great.

I have also used the finest grade steel wool with lots of Dawn dishwashing liquid as lubricant to remove irrigation/well water spots from the windows on my work truck, an F-150, that works too, but I don't know if I would do it on my Ferrari.
