    Spotted a customized 360 spider on my way home. Curiosity got the better part of me and I had to jump into my car and drive back down to North avenue beach parking. And there it was: A slightly modified 360 spider. Had a nice chat with the owners Tony and Sharon who were busy detailing the car. I invited them to our drives and Tony mentioned he intends to participate at the Oak Street event and win. At which point I had to tell him the cold truth about after market mods vs the purists' credo...

    If this is who I think it is... (Illinois plates, same scheme as pics) tell them I was the guy in Hollywood who told them about this site.

    (@ 6-8 weeks ago, I suppose... I was on my way to CNN building with tapes before heading off someplace else, so I parked my work car on Wilcox and-and-and they were waiting for light to change on... Wilcox & Sunset in... tadaaaa... Hollywood)

    Wax: yep, that's the guy you saw. We shipped his car out to CA when he was on vacation. It was completley stock when we sold it to him, and then he added the gold wheels, gold pinstripe, and the wing. Now he wants the exhaust tips gold plated.

    Why?? It looks like something you'd put on a Seville. I like that aftermarket mods but not like this.

    It's the gold I could do without. IMHO the 360 lacks the edgy corners and aggressiveness from past Ferraris and some aftermarket parts like the wing bring that back. If it were mine, I'd go more the darker route and e.g. replace the rear red panel (the one with the rear lights) for a black carbon fibre one etc. I like the wheels, but again would prefer them in aluminum or black.

    A Hamann 360 is ideal I think, but hey, each to his own.

    Nice car but the pinestripping is something that you would do to a F-350 Crewcab Gold wheels and exaust tips on a Ferrari. :(

    Each is to its own though.

    It just needs a Leopard Skin interior,and she's done....:)



    IMO,Gold accents only work on Black or White cars...Non Ferrari,especially...:)

    So give him a break, he can't help it, it's in his genes; though he should have done this to a Vette. :)

    Andreas, was Tony wearing a silk shirt open to his navel, and was his body adorned with a lot of gold jewelry??

    If so, that would explain his lack of proper decorum!!!

    Yep, Tony succeeded in 'Pimping' out, and destroying the heritage of, what was a very nice car. Too bad!!!

    But, to each their own, everyones tastes are different.

    Still, I can't wait to meet Tony at the Oak Street event, and to ask him what he was thinking.

    What he's done to his 360, is almost akin to putting a 'wing' on a Ferrari! :)

    Well, while heading to work this morning in my Truck, i spotted a Black 360 Spider heading Southbound on 355 between Army Trail Rd and North Av. about 9:30 this morning..... Very nice!!! I was sad i wasn't in my Black 328.... :(

    Anyone we know here???

    Seen them driving yesterday car was really clean didnt look bad except for the wing. Looks a little different in person the car matchs them well though.
