As the title says... Spotted on Hysan road in cwb. Does it belong to any of the members here? Love the color combo and would like to see more pics if anyone has them! Spec'ing my car soon and still dreaming of that color combo! Fingers crossed
It's gorgeous if you like matt stuff. I may have pics somewhere in the HD but will need to dig out for you. The car I saw from Europe has carbon wheel caps & shields as well; IIRC also black tinted tail lamps.
That would be greatly appreciated SFchallenge! Saw that it was a solid/flat grey but was too far to see if it was matte. Look forward to the pics. Thanks in advance!
I was down at IMSS tuesday, picking up my car and saw the last GTO off the line in their workshop. The last GTO ever made (if it is to be beleived) is in HK! There is a placque on the dashboard which says it is the last one made. PAUL
Is it this one...? http://www.flickr.com/photos/darylchapman/6249790282/sizes/o/in/photostream/ My friend snapped it in Admiralty a few weeks ago. I agree, it looks the business. Thanks for the interesting info, Sir Paul. You're a mine of information!
Bingo that's the beast! Looked and sounded phenomenal. Is that color grigio medio? Toying w the idea of choosing that color for my italia....
could also be grigio scuro.... I once saw a grigio scuro Scuderia that looked really great (as does the GTO) but I'm not sure if grigio scuro or grigio medio is the lighter color. Martin
in one of the last Ferrari magazines was an article about Phil Bachmann (US collector) that said he always gets the last car of a series produced. I've also read on here that he got the last 575 Superamerica and that he always orders his cars in yellow with a very creative interior and lots of options...but who knows, maybe that changed Guess you can only find out when you compare the serialnumbers... Martin
the flat grey GTO belongs to the local artist Juno Mak' s family, he used to have a scuderia which is with the same color.
I believe these photos of flat grey cars I took are part of the Mak fleet too... http://www.flickr.com/photos/48817379@N03/4959045701/in/set-72157624458299835 http://www.flickr.com/photos/48817379@N03/4867936273/in/set-72157624458299835 Do it! =)
I've heard that the third GTO on KL roads in also in grey; not seen it yet in person. But it does look as though all shades of grey would look good on the GTO!
Oh my apology, my first thought of Flat grey is matt & not that military grey with gloss but no harm. Here's some & the Daytona which I thought is pretty interesting as well Hmm, upon looking close, the GTO is actually silver metallic but you get the idea. Hope they can inspire you on your spec, good luck & have fun ^^ Oh & please show us your car when it's here! The car I saw, for sure, had a plate on the dash which clearly says it is the last one produced. Now I know what has happened with Ferraris in the past (e.g.the Enzos), and only the serial numbers will confirm, when and if someone tracks them all....but "that is what it says on the tin". It is Rosso Fuoco with a matt rood like the grey ones shown here. PAUL
no probs.. this metallic looks fantastic as well... in the end couldnt justify the $$$ for the historic paint option. went w titano thanks everyone for your imput and help!
The one I saw was Rosso Fuoco with a matt grey roof. If Grigio Medio is matt grey then yes, the roof was that "colour", but not the body. PAUL
