    On my way home from the office, I saw a guy with a Lotus Elise that had apparently gone "kaput" right in the middle of a busy street. The owner was standing outside of his Lotus with a phone next to his ear (probably talking to Lotus tech help), and there was a kind gentleman that was helping him that was driving one of those old "cab forward" Chrysler New Yorkers.

    BTW, the closest Lotus dealer to Amarillo is Dallas - 360 miles away.

    I can tell you, if I had laid down $40-$50K for some new exotic sports car, and it left me stranded in the middle of the street, I think I would be a bit unhappy.

    If it wasn't the first type of problem that left me stranded I would send it back and collect a full refund plus driving time, taxes, and interest from my bank account.

    You may be surprised what a little loud talking can do while being 1 foot from the salesman's face!
