Looks like a factory slant nose turbo cab. In alpharetta? Off of rte 9 perhaps? Windward parkway even?
Yea, that looks like a Factory job. I got to drive a DP bodied 83 Euro(grey market) car with cams, K27, B&B exhaust and adjustable boost back in 99 and it's one of the top car experiences I've had. I even enjoyed the 4 speed! Blinding speed. Seating position was a bit odd for me but it was nothing I couldnt get used to. Just love that car. The only down side is the A/C in them, or lack there of.
Nice car, can't see the passenger side vent to gauge if it's real or not, but one of my all time favorite cars (as long as you don't live in FL, a/c blows!)...
Hmmmm.... turbo cab flachbau (slant nose)... pretty freakin' rare bird if it is a factory job. Probably a heck of a ride either way though
i have a hotrodded 930, what a ride they are!!!! , i can see that the pictured car likely has turbo, headers, wastegate, and intercooler...fairly light but effective mods. they make for some serious hot rods when you take em a bit farther than stock! every run to starbucks, i ket a bus card on the windshield asking if i will sell. great examples are getting harder to find and they seem to hold their value too! i won't sell unless i find something cool to fill its' space.
so it would seem! -edit- actually, it doesn't look quite right to me, but I'm no expert. Where'd it go in the other pics?!
Ahh.. Stone mountain. Been to many a convention at the evergreen hotel. I used to live on windward pkwy across the street from etrade. Even tho its a P-car it is def. one of the more rare variants. I'll never forget my first winter in Atl. waaaay back in dec. of 2000, I used to work on Technology parkway in Norcross. I had just pulled into the parking lot and there musta been about 1.5 - 2 inches of snow. Aside from people freaking out and the news reports from the local Kroger showing people buying water and bread. I got to witness some dude in a red 964 series 911 try to make it up the hill on tech pkwy with Z rated tires. Needless to say it took him more than a few minutes to make it about 30'.
the mechanic guy from my block owns one black slantnose just like that. P.S. Carbon ...in the end ... did you get a bike?
No... Other, more important financial obligations continue to take precedence over my want for a bike... The bike will have to wait...
