Doubt it, maybe a cut coupe. But I am almost 100% certain its not a real convertible. There was only one convertible that left the factory with the plexi-lights and I don't think thats it. It could also be a replica on a Corvette chassis, there's a fair amount of those floating around. If its the owner of a body shop he certianly has the know how and means to build one.

EDIT: looking at the pic again the rear fenders seem off somehow. Maybe I'm wrong but it just seems like something is wrong there.

 

Rosso Corsa 599 GTB yesterday in Rockville. I was in my 355 and I waived but I don't think he noticed.

 

didn't see a 328 with new spoiler attached? i was in rockville yesterday too.

 

was it dark gray? i saw a 599 on muncaster road the other day

No this is not real. The fender flares are all wrong and the easiest way to tell is to check the door handles. The Daytona has those elegant little curved handles that stick up above the door. Anything that has any kind of handle in the metal work of the door is not real. It is hard to tell from the pic, but the whole thing looks way too narrow also. Also wrong mirrors. JMHO Bob

Enzo on Route 28 South between Dulles Airport and Route 50.

Pretty sick..Never seen one on the road before.

 

Red cobra with White stripes. I couldn't tell if it was an original or a replica or one of the continuations but it was a 427 and had the Carol Shelby badge near the glovebox. This was on York road.

 

Yellow Ferrari down at Musikfest in Bethlehem. Parents spotted it and called and told me, not sure the model

1 BUGATTI VEYRON - Silver/ Red two tone. Arab dude, riding with windows down, saw us staring and nailed it. Suprisingly quiet car.

I could hardly believe the affluence here... I guess a 2:1 ratio on the dollar does'nt hurt either. A few pics that my friend took. My cam was in a friends bag... there were so many cars driving by.. it was hard to keep up!!
