that woulda been a good race...not sure who woulda won though.
i'd bet on the porsche. it sounded and looked very mean. i'm gonna look around on some porsche message boards to see if i can find him. he was a really nice older gentleman, we just caught some bad luck trying to get a red light
could have been. all i saw was the big carbon fiber race wing along with lots of other little things you dont find on street cars. was nice to finally see an Fcar in front instead of those same 2 maseratis they normally have
today some time in the 2 o clock hour: a red with white stripes ford GT driving on kirkwood highway. then about 10 minutes later a black NSx with temp tags parked by fast signs on kirkwood highway.
IIIIIIIIIIIIII'MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM BAAAACCCCCCCCKKKKK... Great week at Lake Saranac. Saw a lot of cars on the way. I saw the Superamerica at Algar on the way there. Saw a black 308, 4 Aston Martins, 4 Rolls Royces, 1 Bentley Cont. GT, waaaaaaayy tooo many mustang gts, waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many corvettes, and 1 Mercedes SL65 that was pulled over by the cops. I'm suspecting that the driver was having too much fun on the no speed limit curvy roads.
"Probably our very own Will's blue 360 Challenge? Will?" That depends - are you interested in buying it? If so, it's a genuine 360GT with a distinguished racing pedigree, one of a handful made, sure to appreciate! First $500k takes it. If you're not a buyer, then it's my yellow Challenge car repainted and zoomed up a bit with a wing and splitter - we're calling it a "Challenge GT." Let me know if you're interested.
My little brother saw a red Ford GT today. Was this you Les? My little brother is waaaaaaaaaay too lucky. He sees a ferrari every day. This kid also has seen an Enzo, and many other cars that I wish to see.
today, a blue lotus elise around 7:30 or so, cant remember the name of the road, close to kirkwood highway.
my dad said an F40 blew by him on the Garden State Parkway last night. And to think that i was supposed to be there driving instead of him.
did you see the car's plates? did it have a black and white plate some where in the 10-20 thousand range? also did it have a challenge grill?
512 BBI and 360 spider on west chester pike. Coming back from the Algar Rally or Radnor Hunt are my guesses.
No, I was perpendicular to it...I turned right onto 48 while he was turning left from 48 to 141. Why?
just wondering if i knew the person who owns the car, i dout it was them, but i figure that there arn't too many 355 gts around here
Gotcha, yeah, I think the only GTS I've seen around. Course, I might've thought it was a hardtop in the past if he didn't have the top off. He had the top off this time though. I ~believe~ it was a younger guy driving it (30's).
Saturday at around 7:30 I saw a white 360 Modena heading north on 220 (581) in Roanoke, VA. Sadly, I was heading south. Its the second time I've seen the car - saw it a few months ago at a gas station in Boone's Mill. Just want to say that its the only white Ferrari I've seen in person, and I think it looks absolutely stunning. If the owner reads this... come up to W&L and lets talk.
Italian exotics were thick on the ground in Edgewater MD yesterday. Mid-day a silver 360? drives past my place on Londontown Rd. That evening on Central Ave a yellow Lambo passed me turing toward Annapolis. Blipping the downshift (sweet). Only 2 minutes later a red TR turning onto Davidsonville Rd from Rt 2. The nice weather must have brought them out of the garage.
