As per your request sir. Maybe you should move business back down to Reno...south Reno to be exact. The majority of my spots are in and around the Galena area. I've never heard of/met Ed...what does he own, maybe I've seen him around. XSSSIVE is a great friend of mine and drives his exotics quite often...only if the weather's nice though. -G.B.
Blue De Tomaso Pantera at the Shell Gas Station on S. Virginia Street by Ben's Fine Wine & Spirits. -G.B.
Grey Maserati Gransport Coupe turning off of S. Virginia Creek onto Arrowcreek Parkway by 7-11. Beautiful sound! -G.B.
In the last week: A number of Maserati Quattroportes on 280 and Los Gatos. What looked like a '47 Packard Clipper in Campbell. Light tan colour and for sale. A Bristol 401 in Cupertino. The sound of it firing up and that rorty BMW sourced inline 6 growling away through a tiny tailpipe was a real treat! http://imgur.com/f4d6B&xrBCU&jx71D
I've seen them too...must be some sort of organization or event. To those that don't believe there are a lot (or any) exotic cars in Reno: I took this photo last night. Are there exotics in Reno? *looks at photo* Hmmmm......... High-Resolution: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24673238@N07/5840319823/sizes/l/in/pool-94829136@N00/ -G.B. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The national MG organization just completed a cross country tour ending in Reno this week and many are staying around to participate in the Reno Jaguar Club's annual Concours event being held at Victorian Square Saturday. Any one not going up to the VC hillclimb might want to drive over and see some vintage British cars and motorcycles.
Hmm...very interesting. Thanks! Spotted a red Ferrari F430 in the Whole Food's Parking Lot on S. Virginia street this afternoon. Looked beautiful. -G.B.
Black Ferrari F430 Spider on Arrowcreek Pkwy crossing S. Virginia Street this afternoon. Plus all the exotics at the VC Spectre 341 Challenge. -G.B.
Sunday, 6/19 about 4:45 pm on Lytton in Palo Alto. Bicolor italia black top on scud red, no plates, roaring in first gear from light to light. A fine sound!
I've been up around Incline Village and Tahoe for the past two days for a huge 3-day MINI gathering. We were doing Autocross today at the Mt. Rose Ski lodge parking lot and I heard, then saw, a red Ferrari F430 Spider going up Hwy 431 towards Incline. Looked and sounded amazing. -G.B.
Creme colored Mercedes Gullwing headed towards the freeway on Damonte Ranch Parkway by Wal-Mart. Looked beautiful! -G.B.
As the F355 & I were cruising today I spotted a red 360 Modena parked in front of Il Fornaio. Italian, very appropriate. I can always be spotted at Mcdonalds. That way I have some money for maintenance. I better start bringing a camera.
Grigio Alloy Ferrari 360 Modena parked on the street in front of a house on Fieldcreek Lane. White Nissan GT-R headed south on 395. -G.B.
Silverish-blue Lotus Evora heading north on 395 and getting off on the Plumb Lane Exit by the Reno-Tahoe International Airport this morning. -G.B.
As the beast & I were cruising down Broadway burlingame on July 5th late evening I noticed a sweet Black Ferrari 360 Modena parked. Not sure where homeboy (or Homegirl) was eating. Maybe Broadway Prime? Black is a *****ing color....or lack of it I should say. Me & the Yellow Beast shall continue the hunt..... Good to see a sprinkle of Ferrari on these nice summer days. Stay Thirsty my friends. I'm off to Safari...
I would have been sad had it been a Ferrari. But even in his misguided ways he did not deserve that. zoom.....zoom.
Red Ferrari F430 with Lake Tahoe (Nevada) plates turning into the Galena Market gas-station at about 2:30pm. Owner looked to be in his early-mid 20s. Anyone here? -G.B.
while diving home from dinner with the kids, this brand new Aston Rapide was seen on San Pablo Ave. in Berkeley/Albany area near the Marin st crossing. I was not aware these cars were for sale yet... Looked cool, low, sleek, great looking four door. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't know Bentleys all that well, but I believe this to be the new Continental GT. It was getting off our plane in SFO...... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, the Rapide is beautiful, no doubt, but I prefer that classic Mercedes-Benz sedan parked behind it!
Visiting from Houston. This 430 came out of the intercontinental hotel and was put on a trailer Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ha Ha Ha .... Thanks! The Mercedes is mine. It's the around town car, kids love it! I bought the car from the original owner, 175K miles on the clock.. I told my 12 year old it's his car when he needs one..only a couple of years away. Believe me that kid needs no more horsepower than that vintage Mercedes can deliver....plus it's really built like a tank... He's suppose to figure out how to work on it, I figure he should know something about how cars work.
