Oh yeah; saw a black 328 GTS at Lake Cook & Ela yesterday, and a red 348 at Northwest Hwy. & Quentin. Skippity "All Wax Underwear 30% off ".........Duh!

just got back from lake geneva and on the way to and from saw white bentley gt, red 360, and a crazy looking charger strech limo. Weather wasn't the greatest which is why the pickings weren't as good as usual.
Couple Red 360 Spiders today,first nortbound on Rt41 and Park ave,second on Skokie Blvd in Highland Park. Also,very classy looking ,Black Flying Spur on Waukegan in Deerfield.
Red Viper GTS coupe (new version) parks at Fox and Obel in Chicago some afternoons. Something something grocery getter something something.
on a trip to costco in oakbrook saw a couple nice cars black Bentley Arnage with some massive chrome rims blue Lambo Diablo and 3 S 550s (i guess they are becoming more common but i still think they're gorgeous)
Saw a few Group C Le Mans winning cars and some F1s. Also one Lotus, a Daytona, a Miura, some 1933 Alfa, the "James Bond" Aston and an old Maser. I call this a good day.
Hey, I live just a few blocks away from that Oakbrook Costco....guess I have to stop in there more often.... Although, I have actually taken my 308 there a few times to pick up a few things.
Where are you? Sounds like a fantastic selection! BTW....If anyone hasn't added a Miura to their Collection yet. Time may be running out. I just saw a 1971 Miura SV Edition. 1 of 150 made. Going for $410K.......Geez....they were just in the low $100's not too long ago....
Switzerland The 'Verkehrshaus Luzern' has a special exhibit in honor of Peter Sauber. Very rare that his collection is on display to the public.
You will see a ton of them soon. Dealers are offering great discounts on the older S class including greats like the S55 because the difference in the two is staggering. Personally I do not like Mercedes' version of the Idrive but after given a few drives in a Maybach, I would call the new 550 almost baby Maybach like. Rear seat room seems a little less but the smoothness of the engine, and library like sound inside even at highway speed is great. Rear seems more planted unlike the older car. If you think they are gorgeous now, I suggest you get a ride in one in the evening as they have a unique interior lighting setup. RocketBoy

Well, I can tell you about that last picture. That is of 3 of the cars that went on a drive along the I&M Canal Roads out to Starved Rock last Fall. (That Red 308 is mine) That black Alfa Romeo, another Alfa, a super souped up Supra, and some more cars went along too. (Sorry, I cant remember all of the cars off hand) The picture was taken in the Parking Lot of the Yorktown Mall in Lombard, Illinois. Chuck came up with this most excellent drive. And we've done it a few times now. But always in the Fall when it is cool/cold out. I think we should do it again sometime sooner, too. Spring or Summer. Then we can do some Hiking and Cave exploration-spelunking....
My Elise, still at FVMC (one month now), covered in bird sh*t, oil or grease sprayed across one side (I have no idea how they managed that one), speaker grill melted from sitting out in the sun.
