    Dear Dino Folks,

I know this sounds like a ABSOLUTE BUTT THING TO SAY, but I am absolutely tired of everyones questioning my comments and input about current Dino pricing.

I am happy to eat crow, and will use sauces and such to do so.

For everyone looking to sell, I am currently a buyer at the price you say you would sell for in the past (not including my comments or what I have been posting). I will entertain offers that make sense based on your input.

A year ago, my comments were …. Well, questioned.

I am CLEARLY WRONG. PLEASE, forward me by private message any Dino that you are looking to sell for prices from last year or the year before. (Honestly, that is my preference, if you fell better posting publicly here or elsewhere, that kinda proves my point)

    Shawn

    UroTrash,

I am not picking on you in any way, but you haven’t been looking to sell. So you have not been shopping.

I will buy you Dino at last years prices. I own your original interior, it can actually go back factory, not what I would do, but is possible to make happen.

    Strange times

As I re-read this, is sounds snarky, that is not my intended tone, more just one of everyone realizing things that have been going on

When you refer to current Dino prices are you talking about prices in the United States or out of the United States? The Dino prices seem to be lower out of the US.

Shawn, I think there are two factors at work here. The first is folks that are in a time warp— not seeing or refusing to see the trends. Second, you have others that seem to be rooting against the now obvious trend/sea level change. They are akin to the “don’t come” betters at the crap table. In that regard, they may own another Ferrari model and are taken aback on how a 6 cylinder Ferrari may well overtake a fine car like a Daytona in the near future—-easy to answer in my view—pretty girls get all the dates. Or they may be miffed that they could have once could have bought one for X dollars but did not. I am a newbie but you clearly saw the new dawn coming while most were still sleeping. As for me, I was fortunate to have been able to buy my particular off market Dino—thanks in no small part to Colleen, you and Jon. Oh, I don’t think you will get any sellers for a nice sub $350K or even sub $400k Dino but good luck.

While I have been guilty of saying Dino at 2x a Boxer doesn't make sense to me it's just another useless personal opinion. The market dictates values. And clearly the market for Dinos show how desirable it is.

Heck.....I wish I could buy back my Euro 05216 at last year's price. I sent the current owner the Gold and Platinum Cavallino trophies the car won a few years back. Figured they belong with the car and not on my shelf. He said if he ever sold he would give me ROFR. Doubt I will step up if he does sell though. Dino values have run away from me!!!

I appreciate the value you bring to FChat. Don't let the "doubters" get you down.

shawn, you worked against yourself in this situation. you would not share any specific info ,only cryptic breadcrumbs. you were privy to prices and condition of dinos that sold. you didnt need to name
names or sn’s but more than just saying “another big sale in dinoland”.
just my 2 cents of how i read your posts.

For the record, I bought my low mileage Dino two months ago for $425K plus 3% finder’s fee (which I was super happy to pay given my Dino was not being marketed and Colleen was awesome in handling everything and guiding me through the process). She is helping me now on a 328. As I sit here now, I would have no issue buying my same car for $550-600K— it’s a keeper, would never sell but if I did, it would take more that to get a rise out of me.

425K plus 3% is the height of the market now. One cannot go by BAT prices! Look at major auctions around the world most Dinos going for 3-400K range. Others. who are very knowledgeable on this thread have agreed.

Based on willing buyers and willing sellers with no limit on what the term “market” means, I would disagree but that is what is fun about all this— all have different opinions
