All I have been seeing on the Kennedy are Maseratis and Bentleys.
Okay, so I didn't see the car in person, but gonna call this a spotting because it was so cool and I saw pics of it. I was at a street rod shop the other day that I go to often for parts and some fabrication and found out about an early Ferrari in our neighborhood. There was a couple at the shop that is getting some work done on a woodie who wanted to meet me because he had seen the GTO. I love meeting people and we started talking about cars and he told me he had an old Ferrari 250 he just finished restoring. A few minutes later he mentioned his Europa, and I said, "Oh cool, you have a Lotus too?" Boy was I wrong... his 250 is a 1955 250 Europa!!! #0397GT He sold it in the 1960's and after trying to buy it back for years after the buyer disassembled it. Eventually the gentleman who disassembled it passed away and the car came back to Bob. The car came out of restoration just in time to make it to this year's Cav Classic in Fla When I get to see it in person I'll make sure to take some good pics Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw a black TR, an elise, a red 360 on the back of a tow truck, a blacked out 997 turbo, and a red BMW M1. Are those rare? I've never seen them before but they look cool. By the way I saw all that stuff in Highland Park.
Saw an ancient Rolls Royce of some kind or another (black) tootling around Arlington Drive as I pulled into my little court around 10:40 this morning. Nice to see something else with a bit of class in the neighborhood

Saw one of those new Audi R8's headed north on 41 by the Wisconsin line he had a silver Porsche practically attached to his rear bumper
O.K., it's been awhile.... White Diablo with wing headed westbound on Butterfield Rd. (IL RT 56) just west of Highland Av. in Lombard last Sunday around noon. Not 3 minutes later, a Red 430 spider following suit. This morning. on northbound Wolf Rd, just south of 31st.st. in Hinsdale, a red Mondial Cabriolet.
I saw it too. It was coming to our LCA meet at Carluccis. We had about 20 Lambos show up. And the rain held off!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw a black Audi R8 by Fox and Obel this afternoon. I could have gone back and gotten my camera but you all know what they look like. I think they look better than they actually drive.
Any more pics of the Lambos LCA meet that was on Sun??(Where did this event actually take place??)-Will there be any up n coming Lambo LCA events in 2008??

I know "his story" but, since I'm a 2 finger typist, it would take me forever to type it. LOL, I have 2 of the Vogue tyres from his Cadillac on my Lincoln; they're practically brand new. p.s. He usually only plays 'Journey' songs.
Here's my "tag" encounter. I seen him few years back as he drove by the art institute. Top down, gold rims, loud music and all. With a full line of traffic behind him, he just stops, gets out and proceeds to take his shirt off, then he folds the shirt up and puts it behind his seat, gets in and takes off. I remember he was about as tan as one could get and had bleach blond hair with Mr. T style gold chains around his neck and some adidas track pants. Sorta looked like an old school break dancer. lol quite a character for sure.
