Call PDA and explain to them your reason for not showing. LIE and dont inform them that you couldnt get the stripper to leave.
They might allow you to apply the fee to a later event. Its worth the try!!!

I'm scheduled for Pocono with PDA Sat/Sun July 21/22, long courses. They use much of the Nascar speedway, so it's high-speed heaven from what I hear.

I'd love to get to the Glen at some point as well, I know it is a trek though. I have a crazy travel schedule this summer, so most og the PDA & scda dates don't work for me/ INterested in any other clubs I can run with...

http://www.comscc.org/ has Day 1 as usual DE, while day 2 is a few sessions of DE and then time trials. With a time trial they line up 3 or more cars (depending on track size) and delay each car's start by 20 seconds or so. This way you have open track and not wheel to wheel racing. Your best time out of three laps is recorded. Very safe and simple form of 'racing.' You could argue (rightly) the time trials are SAFER than DE as very few cars are on track and they are spaced out over a time period.

Don't forget, the Ferrari Club of America has multiple events this season:

May 2-3. 6th Annual Spring Track Event at Watkins Glen, hosted by Classic Coach. This is a great opportunity to practice at the Glen in anticipation of this year’s FCA Annual Meet plus you will not get more track time at any other 2-day track event all year. Convertibles must have roll-over protection (360 & 430 Spiders are acceptable – pop-up roll bars are not). [Cars other than Ferraris are permitted.]

May 26-29. “Pocono, a Celebration of Speed and Design,” sponsored by Classic Coach. Concours on May 27 at the Pocono Manor followed by a 2-day track event at Pocono Raceway. Register by April 1st to receive a discounted registration fee. Application available online at www.pocono-csd.com. The Pocono Manor will be the host hotel. Call (800)233-8150 to reserve your room. Convertibles must have roll-over protection (360 & 430 Spiders are acceptable – pop-up roll bars are not). Info: Joe Moore (609)397-8866, e-mail: [email protected].

July 20-21. Lime Rock Park Track Event sponsored by Miller Motor Cars and Putnam Leasing. The Historic Challenge Series will not be joining us this year but the good news is that this year’s event will be unmuffled again!!! Leave the straight pipes on your Challenge car; bring your 333 SP or BBLM. The Interlaken Inn (800-222-2909) will be the host hotel. Make your room reservations early as rooms are hard to get. Convertibles must have roll-over protection (360 & 430 Spiders are acceptable – pop-up roll bars are not). [Cars other than Ferraris are permitted.]

Aug 29-Sep 2. 2007 FCA International Meet at Watkins Glen. Every year we have a great event at the Glen on Labor Day weekend but the Annual Meet we have planned is simply over the top. The Radisson, (607)962-5000, will be the host hotel. When calling to make reservations you must request the “Ferrari Club of America Room Block” to receive the special group rate. You can also reserve your room online at www.radisson.com/corningny and select “More Search Options” under “Check Availability.” You will need to fill in arrival and departure dates along with the “Promotional Code FC2007” to receive the special group rate. [Ferraris and Maseratis only]

Oct 2. Season Finale at Pocono Raceway. 1-day track event sponsored by Classic Coach. The Pocono Manor will be the host hotel. Call (800) 233-8150 to reserve your room. Convertibles must have roll-over protection (360 & 430 Spiders are acceptable – pop-up roll bars are not).
