Pics below. It is a great looking car. You could tell that the design was heavily influenced by the Advanced Lightweight coupe form a while back. The production XK is so close to it.

Ford must have gotten the Aston's mixed up with the Jag's. I do like it, but like all other fords, the models start to blend together.

Last gen was a more balanced design. This one looks squeezed and pinched from different angles.

I like it. Seems to be a hatchback which is interesting. I would like to see it in R trim

The grille opening & the snatchback are all thats left of the awesome XKE.

The rest looks Blah, especially next to a beauty like the DB9

Park an XKE next to it & that thing would dissapear

Bland. Current rear end looks worse than the new XK's however. The rear valence has never been a very good looking aspect of the current XK.

A Rover power plant? Hardly. Its the next generation AJ-V8 engine and for the record, has been in development off and on since 1988, designed by Jaguar with money from Ford, built in a separate Jaguar engine factory, attached to a larger Ford engine factory.

The same AJ-V8 was stroked out to 4.5L to produce 650bhp and is in the current Trans Am car which continues to trounce the competition.

The same AJ-V8 was also tweaked by Rocketsports Racing which developed the above Trans Am engine and shown in the XK-RS in street form which is a 200mph sub-4 second convertible.

The new XK will not make much headway into recapturing lost sales to the smashing hit SL500/SL600/SL55 body.

Those wheels had me laughing out loud! They should either go all the way with 20" chrome spinners or get back to reality with a 17 or 18" rim. Just how low do you need your profile to go??? Keep clear of those potholes :)

Definately a mix of Aston and Taurus. From the back i also see a hint of Chrysler Crossfire.

The oval grill and headlights do remind one of the Tarus. The Aston comments are also accurate, Ian Cullum, designer of the DB 7, did this car and it shows, particularly in the shoulder line in the rear of the car. Overall it does look good, it has elegance and enough presence to justify it's place in upper end of the market. The old XK is a great car, but so old.

The new Mustang & the GT & the AMs are so nice.

Shaguar needs to grow some nads & REALLY build a 21st C E Type not an XKTaurus

If they built a nice 1 they would be back ordered months, just like the real Shaguar, the E type

The ALC is FUGLY and so it this! What ever happened to the beautiful roadster concepts like the XK180(?) or the little silver roadster? Those are sensual designs.

Agree with you there. The XK180 was stunning. This is....well......very different. And, as mentioned before, what's with the Taurus grill? Produce the XK180, and I'd be actually considering Jaguar a contender. Sorry Ford...you missed the mark.

Yes the XK 180 was a beauty, I think it got too expensive. Ford has still not recouped its investment in Jag whereas AM is already making a profit

I've owned a couple XKRs in the last few years. Have also been pretty excited to see the newest generation XK to be soon released.

If those pics are in fact exactly what the new model is to be, I don't think I will be buying another Jag for quite some time. Very disappointing.
