Wow I think it looks f'n killer! I hope they produce a model just like this.

 

Overall I like it....

But I dont like the headlight and tailight treatments. Too japanese looking. I wish they would stick with simpler forms.

 

This is a PS job of the BMW CS concept.

You can see some other BMW design elements slapped in there to establish some credibility.

Rumors have placed the CS as some sort of design inspiration for the next 7-Series; let's see in a year or two.

I agree, but its better, still Bangle tho.

 

The grill is *far* too big, and it is everything but "de-Bangled". Ugly car.

 

I so love the 7 series. Even from day 1.
Had a 740iL. Bought it 4 yrs used for about 30% of sticker. Sold it when the warranties expired. At about 15% of sticker.
Both good moves.


Even the Banglemobile looks good to me.
This one looks killer.

 

It looks better than the current one.

 

It's not a big achievement at all, even human excrements may look better than e65 if you look at them from the right angle.

I like everything but the front grill.

 

Not Bad.

But the MB CLS still blows it out of the water in the looks dept.

 

I don't see the de-bangle-ization... I thought Bangle's work was the changed headlights, the sculpted more round appearance and the changing front grill - all still present in this design.

I like it. I like the current 7-series but this one is even better. It does look like a giant 3-series - but I really like the new 3-series too.

I really am happy with the direction BMW has taken their designs over the years. I know everyone loves to rag on them and slam Bangle but AFAIK BMW is doing better then ever and selling record numbers of bangle-ized cars, so they must be doing something right.

 

Current 7 series is butt ugly. It's simply... disjointed. This car is a step in the right direction. Much nicer infact. It doesn't have that bloated look.
